This is a 2D shooter game created as a project for a game development class. After following the lectures to make a game using premade assets, I made some modifications to it to make it my own and demonstrate what I had learned:

Replaced all characters with my own characters
Changed the appearance of UI elements (font, backdrop image)
Changed background and environment elements
Added more levels
Created and wrote a script for a power-up item that will temporarily increase the player's speed
Replaced some of the music and sound effects with royalty-free audio from BandLab
Added an introduction page with a story

Note: I made this game to have the player face one direction, but I will update it eventually with sprites for all directions.
